Job Description:

We are currently seeking to hire a Staff Accountant in our Visalia, CA office. We are a rapidly growing regional accounting firm with clients extending throughout the Western States, with a strong presence in the agriculture and construction industries. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with seniors, managers and/or partners on various projects
  • Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
  • Prepare financial statements with disclosures
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns
  • Develop self-learning and problem solving skills
  • Involvement in marketing events/community service projects as appropriate

Experience and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational techniques
  • Highly motivated
  • Eager to learn
  • Integrity and Confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Preferred Position Qualifications:

  • CPA candidate
  • Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
