Job Description:

We are currently seeking to hire a Staff Accountant/Auditor for our Assurance department in our Brea, CA office. This position is responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with directions from their supervisors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform procedures on all sections of the balance sheet and income statement for an audit, review, compilation or agreed-upon procedure engagements under supervision
  • Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS
  • Work on multiple client engagements in addition to completing tasks related to business development
  • Research accounting and auditing issues

Experience and Skills:

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Accounting preferred
  • Eligible to sit for the uniform CPA exam
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational techniques are required
  • Highly motivated & fast to learn
  • Strong commitment to provide excellent client service
  • Thorough understanding of accounting debits and credits
  • Basic problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
