Job Description:

We are currently seeking to hire a Staff for our Assurance department in our Brea, California office. The Staff is responsible for performing specifically assigned tasks in Accordance with directions furnished by the engagement senior, manager and/or partner, as specified in the work program or pertinent firm policies and procedures.  

  1. Regularly communicate with seniors, managers and/or partners informed on the status projects and any problems encountered

  2. Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies

  3. Understand transactional flow and key transition cycles

  4. Perform procedures for all sections of audit, review, compilation or agreed-upon procedure engagements

  5. Prepare financial statements with disclosures

  6. Develop self-learning and problem solving skills

  7. Develop and maintain ongoing business relationships with client personnel

Experience and Skills:

 

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA eligible

  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Public Accountant license a plus

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (primarily Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
